Huawei plans to develop “super charger”

According to the foreign media “GSM Arena” report, Huawei, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, plans to introduce a “supercharger” that can support the rapid charging of large-capacity batteries in the near future. According to official development documents, Huawei’s charger will provide 40W fast charge and can fully charge 4200 mAh battery in one hour.

Huawei’s new smartphone Mate 20 Pro released, its ultra-large capacity battery, it takes a while to fully charge through the included charger, which has disadvantages for users; the new 40W fast charge can make Mate 20 Pro users charge their batteries in a very short time.
However, according to the outflow data, this 40W supercharger currently only supports Huawei Mate 20 Pro, and other mobile phones can only provide standard QC 3.0 fast charge (the premise mobile phone needs support). Huawei expects to launch the charger in 2019. The foreign media also believes that this will coincide with the P30 Pro handset that Huawei plans to launch next year, while the lower-profile P30 may use a 20W fast charger.
